Widely known as “Queen Aftan”, Aftan M Williams is an orator royale, entrepreneuHER, television host and administrative executive. She is the founder of Crown Up International, a movement that seeks “to transform the mindset of a girl into the mindset of a queen and the mindset of a boy into the mindset of a king”. Queen Aftan is also the creator of The Scepter Circle which is a powerhouse sisterhood of Kingdom women seeking elevation with the team element at the forefront. She believes that we are all born royalty and therefore it is our responsibility to uphold that legacy. Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, her design is creative with gifts to manage, speak, produce, write, sing, dance, choreograph, act, curate and captivate audiences, dubbed “the best host” by Crissy Collins (BGV of Beyonce’s “The Mamas”). 

Under the “Queen Aftan” moniker, she has achieved accomplishments in those areas such as managing high level client endeavors, serving as the MC for various notable events, being a stand-in for films, empowering hundreds of young people across the country, leading an international cheerleading squad and touring in various capacities from road manager to talent, with major forces. At the close of 2023, The School of the Great Commission Bible College bestowed an Honorary Doctorate in Christian Leadership upon her, causing Dr. Aftan Williams to be her name addendum. She is also the “Global Diamond” for lifestyle enhancement company, The DNA Brand and two has other worldwide ambassadorships with BareSkin USA and Runneth Water Co. “Queendom” is a seed that was planted in her when she was a little girl.

In 1990, she became the Queen of “God’s Royal Court” at Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church at just 5 years of age. After being elected Winter Formal Queen in her junior year at McDonogh #35 College Preparatory Senior High School in 2001, Queen Aftan was officially bitten by the pageant bug causing her to acquire many other titles from 2002 to 2008. In 2014 she became a national titleholder as the U.S. United Ambassador. She was crowned the first ever Queen Juneteenth (2017-2018) and went on to win another national title right after that! She has even been the first unanimously chosen international ambassador for an established system. Now, she has a huge endeavor she is about to carve in the world of pageantry coming soon! She has done well over 8,000 hours of community service for which she was awarded the President’s Lifetime Volunteer Service Award from President Barack Obama in 2017 and the Bronze President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2023 from President Joe Biden for 1 year of selflessness. Her alma mater, Clark Atlanta University, awarded her two community service medals for leadership and commitment. Those qualities earned her special selection into the New D.E.A.L. (Dean’s Excellence and Leadership) Program. She was one of only ten chosen in the entire institute. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication: Public Relations with high distinction, along with membership into Gamma Sigma Sigma National Service Sorority, Inc. 

Her company, Royalist Management, boasts an affluent clientele and evidence of her constant pursuit of excellence! As a personality, her “Crown Jewels”, “Palace PSAs”, “Queen Query”, “CROWNicles” and “Reign Drops” are anticipated tools of motivation on social media. She is the regal voice of an upcoming series “Queen Cake with Queen Aftan” and her new talk show, “Queen, You’ve Got MALE”. On the red carpet, she interviews personalities “On HEIR with Queen Aftan”! Her Kingdom marks include “Heavy Crowns” and “The CROWNference”. Plus, her multi-use perfume spray, “Layor” (which is ROYAL spelled backwards), palatially lifts atmospheres across the United States. In all of this, Queen Aftan has put God first. She is honored by her experiences and is grateful to have been chosen. Her elevation will continue while walking in her pink shoes with a crown pin on the same side as her heart!
